Andrew Norris Japanese Brush Pen Drawings

In 2009 I grew tired of the number of unfixed charcoal drawings I had built up in my plan chests. I spent the next 3 years drawing in ink. These drawings were all made using a Japanese brush pen filled either with black Indian ink or grey acrylic ink. They are all drawn directly in ink in one sitting so mistakes cannot be erased; sometimes they work, more often they don't. Below is a selection of the more successful examples:
